What makes No Sweat clothing different from other brands?
No Sweat’s own line of T-shirt and other garments are based on solidarity with garment workers. While more and more brands are switching to organic cotton and other sustainable fabrics, few are serious about workers’ rights.
No Sweat puts workers rights at the very heart of our clothing. We only source from factories recommended by trade unions in the ground that have organised a workplace and make the introduction for us to source there.
We are in regular contact with the trade unions that represent the workers that make our clothes to ensure their rights and decent conditions are being upheld, we use the profits from our sales for our campaign work and our Garment Workers Solidarity Fund. This fund is designed to support workers in the sweatshops industry organising their own struggles for their rights. Since the inception of our project, we have helped fund workers organisations in places like Bangladesh, Haiti and Myanmar.
What is the relationship between the campaign and the T-shirt project?
No Sweat is a grassroots campaign group that, for over two decades, has campaigned for workers rights and against the corporations that exploit workers in their supply chains. No Sweat’s clothing company is a separate legal entity called No Sweat Ethical Trading Ltd, that works alongside the campaign. The clothing company’s profits from sales are donated to the No Sweat campaign group which collectively decides what money is used for the campaign and what is used for the solidarity fund.
What does No Sweat do about the impact of it's clothing production on the environment?
We acknowledge that it is impossible to make clothing that does not have some impact on the natural world. We are not interested in greenwashing and we don’t make claims that clothes made in one part of the world that are shipped to another part of the world can ever be climate neutral. The evidence of microplastics found in marine life means we have ruled out synthetic fabrics from our garments, and we have switched our entire production to organic cotton in an attempt to limit the damage to the environment caused by pesticides. Products
Where are your products made?
As of 2024 No Sweat sources primarily from India, with an alternative supplier in Bangladesh. All our suppliers have strong relationships with independent trade unions.
Natchi Apparel in Tamil Nadu, India, is a member of Eastman Exports, a large clothing manufacturer, who were recommended to us by the Tamil Nadu Textile and Common Labour Union after they secured a significant representation agreement.
Irene Knitwear is a factory Dhaka, Bangladesh that was recommended to us by the Bangladesh Garment and Industrial Workers Federation as a supplier with a strong trade union presence and fully unionised workforce.
We keep in close contact with our trade union partners to ensure that conditions in the factories are maintained at the highest level and ensure that we support the workers in any disputes with the factory management.
What certifications do No Sweat clothes have?
For over 20 years, No Sweat has held brands accountable for their treatment of garment workers. We do not participate in traditional accreditation schemes because many have proven ineffective at protecting workers’ rights or making a genuine difference to workers’ lives; instead, they often mask the exploitation that remains rife across the industry. Rather than relying on these labels, we work directly with trade unions in Bangladesh to monitor conditions and ensure genuine workplace democracy. While we avoid corporate social certifications, we ensure that all our organic cotton is GOTS and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
How do I care for No Sweat garments and will they shrink?
While all our clothes comply with performance standards in the textile industry, some minor shrinkage may occur, but this is rare and will always be under the 5% acceptable limit for dimensional stability. To minimise the risk and to help the environment we recommended that the wash temperature does not exceed 30C, and do not tumble dry.
Are No Sweat T-shirts and garments suitable for printing and decorating?
All of our garments are suitable for all screen printing using plastisol and water-based ink, as well as other forms of garment decoration including heat transfers, discharge printing and embroidery.
Do No Sweat T-shirts and garments have labels?
All of our T-shirts and hoodies have a No Sweat label and size label in the seam of the neck and a washing instruction label in the lower inner seam. No Sweat tote bags have a small label in the outer seam with our logo and the organic cotton identification.
Orders
How do I make an order?
Orders can be made through our website, but for wholesale orders, registration is required. We accept payments via credit/debit card or PayPal.
You can also place an order via email and we will invoice you with details to make a bank transfer. Contact us at tshirts@nosweat.org.uk.
How quickly will I receive my order?
Wholesale orders are shipped within 1-2 working days. Normal service will see next day deliver but this is subject to the courier service. Retail orders are usually dispatched within 3 working days, although some delays can occur when stocks are low.
How much is the delivery cost?
Prices of shipping vary depending on type of garment, quantity and delivery location. Shipping calculations can be found when items are placed in a basket and and address is entered. For details without taking this action please email us at tshirts@nosweat.org.uk.
What is your returns policy?
Printed garments cannot be return after printing. If you are accidentally supplied a faulty garment, we will fully refund or replace the item if returned within 28 days of delivery. Unwanted garments can also be returned within 28 days but a restocking fee of 20% may be applied. Please contact us before returning any good for authorisation and the correct returns address.

Is there a minimum order quantity and how are the garments priced?
No minimum order required. For wholesale pricing, price breaks are size-specific. Discounts are based on the quantity of each individual size ordered, not the total number of items in your basket.
How often do you get new stock?
We follow a slow fashion model, producing our garments in India and Bangladesh with an average of 3–4 factory shipments per year.
While we aim to restock core items as quickly as possible, our production pace is intentional. Please be aware that as stocks get low, some items may be discontinued and will not be replaced. We recommend ordering available items promptly, as restocks occur only a few times a year.
